Steering Group Meeting PA 1b
The Special Steering Group meeting of the EUSDR PA1b: To improve mobility and multimodality – Road, Rail and Air links will take place online on Tuesday, the 22nd June 2021.
The EU Strategy for the Danube region was endorsed in the first half of 2011 and twelve Priority Areas started their long journey towards the unknown. The Steering Group members of the Priority Area 1b: “To improve mobility and multimodality – road, rail and air links” met for the first time on 22nd June 2011 in Ljubljana.
10 years passed and so now is the time for a brief reflection and look at our past activities and networking. We are aware that looking forward there is still a lot to be done. Clearly a need for continuing joint efforts for implementation of a seamless, sustainable, smart, safe and secure transport system throughout the Danube macro-region should remain on top of our efforts.
The aim of the special SG meeting is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Priority Area 1b. After a brief presentation by PACs, a very informal chat is planned with participants.
Participation in Steering Group meetings is only possible upon invitation. Invitations will be sent out in due time.
After the 23rd SG meeting held on 25th March, the next regular (the 24th) SG meeting is tentatively planned in September 2021.
