PA 2 Workshop: Fostering the Renovation Wave in the EUSDR and EUSAIR

How can the Renovation Wave contribute to raising energy efficiency in new and existing residential buildings in the Danube and Adriatic-Ionian Macro-Regions?

The session initiated by EUSDR PA 2 (CZ), DSP, Ukraine and Croatia will bring together actors from several stakeholder groups, such as academia, public sector, funding, energy community and policy administration to give an overview and discuss the current status quo in the EUSDR, the policy developments on carbon-neutrality goals and funding opportunities. The session will also provide a cross-MRS approach by looking at concrete examples and the best practices from Croatia (Member country in EUSDR & EUSAIR). Moreover, Ukraine (hosting the EUSDR 2022 Presidency) will also provide an insight from a non-EU perspective. A following discussion will give the space for the audience to actively debate with the speakers about recommendations and scenarios in these regions.
