EUSDR National Coordinators met the representatives of DG REGIO and the Danube Transnational Programme in an online meeting on 25th May 2020. The two main points on their agenda included:

• the status quo and next steps in the ongoing process of embedding the Strategy into EU funding programmes
• the finalisation of the EUSDR Governance Paper and the NC Rules of Procedure for improved communication, organisation and implementation of the Strategy.

 

The meeting was organised and led by the current Croatian EUSDR Presidency with support of the Danube Strategy Point.

National Coordinators are the focal points of the EUSDR on national level and represent the decision-making body of the Strategy. The key role of NCs is to coordinate, guide and motivate the national ministries to consider and implement the Strategy in their respective policy fields.
