I’m Bence Bíró, representing Hungary in the Danube Youth Council. I hold a master’s degree in International Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest and also studied at NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. Previously, I completed an internship with the Global Water Partnership Central and Eastern Europe.

Currently, I work at the Ministry of Energy in Hungary as a coordinator for the Hungarian EU Presidency, focusing on a UN treaty addressing plastic pollution. Additionally, I serve as the president of an NGO based in Budapest called Square of Youth Association. The association aims to connect Hungarian youth with Europe, focusing on youth participation and involvement.

I believe the Danube Youth Council is a unique initiative, offering young people in the Danube Region the opportunity to collaborate on important topics, engage with decision-makers, and contribute to the priority areas of the EUSDR. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and meeting new people.
