9th International Danube Conference on Culture

After several years, the Danube Conference on Culture series returns to its place of birth – Ulm. The conference was first organised here in 2013, and comes back now after Novi Sad, Temeswar, Ruse, Pécs, Linz, Regensburg and Schallaburg. Under the motto „ STAYING STRONG TOGETHER”, the organizers would like to discuss the possibilities of a restart for the cultural sector in the Danube Region focusing on innovation, finances and sustainability. The conference was originally planned for November 2021, but had to be postponed because of the serious pandemic situation.

Now it will take place from 8-10 May 2022 in Ulm. The main organizer is the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with partners from the Danube region – among them the Danube Cultural Cluster. The event will be implemented by the Cluster member European Danube Academy Ulm.
