Simon Gottowik

Since November 2025, I have been a member of the Danube Youth Council. I studied Protestant Theology at the Universities of Heidelberg and Tübingen and Public Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Ludwigsburg. Since March 2024, I have been working as Personal Secretary to the District Administrator and Press Spokesperson at the District Office of Göppingen, Baden-Württemberg.

Coming from Baden-Württemberg – the German state where the Danube originates – I am particularly committed to strengthening cooperation along the river. Through my work in the Danube Youth Council, I want to help Europe grow closer together, across both EU and non-EU countries. I am especially passionate about improving mobility to better connect people and economic regions.
