We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 14th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), which will take place from 5 to 6 November 2025 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Forum is organised by the Bosnian and Herzegovinian EUSDR Presidency, represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in close cooperation with the European Commission and the Danube Strategy Point.

A Platform for Dialogue and Cooperation

The Annual Forum will bring together high-level representatives from the European Union, national governments, regional and local authorities, civil society, and other stakeholders from across the Danube Region and beyond.

As the flagship event of the EUSDR, the Forum provides an interactive platform to:

  • Review progress made within the Strategy,

  • Discuss common challenges,

  • Shape priorities for the future, and

  • Strengthen cooperation among all Danube Region partners.

Key topics on the agenda will include:

  • EU enlargement and support to accession countries

  • Brain drain, skills gaps, and youth unemployment

  • Education, training, and demographic shifts

  • Green and digital transition

Danube Participation Day

The Forum will be preceded by the 12th Danube Participation Day, organised by EUSDR Priority Area 10 and the Danube Civil Society Forum, on 4 November 2025. This event will bring together civil society actors and local stakeholders to discuss their role in shaping EU policies and fostering community engagement.
