My name is Pejo Bosnić and I come from a small town in the north of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, due to its favorable geographical location, is often called the “Gate of Bosnia and Herzegovina” – Odžak. I am currently 22 years old and a 1st-year graduate student at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, where I am the president of two associations and a member of the faculty and university student council. While volunteering, I dealt with many topics and problems in society, but my favorite topic is financial literacy, which, unfortunately, is not given enough importance, and is one of the basic life competencies of every person. I joined the Danube Youth Council in order to take my volunteer journey to a higher level, and to speak on a supranational level about local and national problems that almost all citizens, especially young people, face on a daily basis.
