Pécs Writers Programme is searching for resident programs or literary houses as future partners for either bi- or multilateral projects. The program was founded in 2007 with the aim of bringing authors together from the whole Danube Region, and in the past 10 years, it has hosted more than 70 authors from Europe, the USA, Japan and China. In recent years, they have established fruitful exchanges with ULNÖ Krems (Austria), Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus Schwandorf (Germany), Port Cultural Cetate (Romania) and with the upcoming European Capital of Culture cities (Pilsen, Wroclaw, Pafos). They regularly participate in the Danube Cultural Conference, and their authors have been guests at the Donau Lounge in several book fairs (Vienna, Lviv/Lemberg). If your organisation would like to join this expanding regional network, get in touch with the organisers.
