PA10 – Webinar on funding for civil society

The team of Priority Area 10 “Institutional Capacity and Cooperation” of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region has the pleasure to invite you to a webinar on funding for civil society and local actors in the Danube Region. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 – 10.00 CET.

Priority Area 10 (PA 10) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) aims at institutional capacity-building and cooperation at local, regional and national level, involvement of civil society in public governance and increasing local development. One of the main activities of PA 10 is to improve the current situation regarding the inclusion and involvement of civil society and local actors stakeholders. Bringing Europe closer to the citizens is an ongoing activity within the European Union for many years as well.
The involvement of civil society organisations and local actors is a crucial step towards comprehensive and successful development in the Danube Region.
Against this background, the webinar aims at:
·         Discussing various challenges regarding the involvement of civil society organisations and local actors in regional development in the Danube Region.
·         Providing an overview about available funding opportunities from different EU funding programmes and beyond
·         Presenting helpful tools for funding research, capitalisation, and initial partner search
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
We will start at 10:00 CET (Brussels time).
To register or for any questions, please contact Martin Marek () before November 28, 2019.
