The increased cooperation with our neighbors has been the best thing to happen to Bulgaria. I grew up in Pazardzhik and saw how the EU transformed our country. I did my Bachelor’s in International Relations in the UK, specialising in Balkan and Eastern European affairs. During the past few years, I’ve taken an active role in civil society, including leading an NGO, working as a journalist and running charity campaigns. I’ve travelled and made friends across Europe. Now at 22, I want to see Bulgaria contribute to its neighborhood and believe the EUSDR is a good way for young people to learn more about the region. Outside of politics, I have a cat and a knack for travel photography.
