INVITATION: Transgreen Final Conference, Pathways to Greener Transport Infrastructure – Bucharest, June 25th 2019

WWF Danube-Carpathian Programme on behalf of the TRANSGREEN project consortium is pleased to invite you to attend the EU-LEVEL CONFERENCE “Pathways to Greener Transport Infrastructure. Solutions and Policy Options for Sustainable Road & Rail Networks in Europe”, Bucharest on 25 June 2019.

 

The event will be held under the patronage of the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council as well as the Romania Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR).

 

Aim of the conference is to present the achievements of 2,5 year efforts in technical solutions, policy and integrated planning undertaken in TRANSGREEN. The event will offer you the opportunity to follow EU-level policy matter-of-fact discussions, and workshops on integrated transport infrastructure planning that takes nature into account as well as a plenary session to exchange knowledge and experience on the topic with guests from other mountainous regions: Alps, Caucasus, Dinaric Arc, Pyrenees. Take the chance to connect with around 200 participants, among them EU and national officials from within and beyond the Danube-Carpathian region.
