International workshop: Climate Change: Challenges in Agriculture and Water Sectors

The international workshop Climate Change – Challenges in Agriculture and Water Sectors is organised within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), Priority Area 4 “Water Quality”, and will take place on 4 December 2025 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The main aim of the workshop is to share experiences, knowledge and best practices on sustainable agricultural approaches that enhance resilience to water and climate change impacts, for example through the use of drought-resistant crop varieties, improved irrigation systems, climate-smart farming techniques, reduction of diffuse pollution, nutrient retention and emissions, and better land-use management.
