Damir Hasanović is an aspiring diplomat in the multilateral space and a Youth Delegate and Young Peacebuilder with the EU Youth, Peace and Security Coalition, where he advocates for meaningful youth participation in peacebuilding. As a defense policy researcher at VOYCE, a student think tank based in Italy, he contributes to research papers, articles, and policy recommendations on cybersecurity, EU defense policy, and military acquisitions. Through the UNDP Serbia Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality and Trust Fellowship, Damir promotes peacebuilding in the Western Balkans through social media campaigns, contemporary art, and dialogue. He is pursuing a BA in International Relations and Security at the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security and is a former U.S. State Department Scholar with experience across institutions such as the UN, EU, DCAF, and DW Akademie.
