My name is Ana Šabanović, I am a 27-year-old architect from Belgrade, Serbia, currently pursuing my PhD at the Faculty of Architecture – University of Belgrade. In addition to my academic pursuits, I actively participate in university teaching at the same institution. My research focuses on sustainable urban development, with a special emphasis on urban climate resilience. I see my involvement with DYC as a good opportunity to gain insight into and participate in the processes of governing and financing urban development, and at the same time expand my understanding and knowledge of the implementation process. Furthermore, I believe that it will widen my network and allow me to meet new, like-minded people with whom I can exchange knowledge and experience.
