At the 4th meeting of the EUSDR Task Force Danube Youth Council (TF DYC), national representatives of the EUSDR participating states together with DG REGIO and the Danube Strategy Point gave finishing touches to the Proposal for the establishment of the EUSDR Danube Youth Council. This proposal was initiated under the Slovak EUSDR Presidency in 2021 and is now being further developed with full energy and commitment under the wings of the Ukrainian EUSDR Presidency.

In a next step, the proposal will be introduced to all EUSDR National Coordinators on 22 February 2022 and shall be endorsed in March 2022.

Following this procedure, a call for young people (aged 18-29) from all 14 EUSDR participating states is planned to be launched to establish the Danube Youth Council, inviting the young Danubian generation to participate in the implementation of the Danube Region Strategy!
