I’m a final-year medical student from Ljubljana, now studying at Trinity College Dublin, and I represent Slovenia on the Danube Youth Council. My work in medical education, youth leadership, and research across Slovenia, Ireland, the UK, and Tanzania has shaped my interest in Priority Area 9: People and Skills – especially issues of brain drain, training opportunities, and youth mobility.

As a DYC representative, I aim to advocate for stronger cross-border exchanges, better support for young professionals, and policies that keep talent in the Danube Region. I’m committed to ensuring that youth perspectives drive a more inclusive, skilled, and future-focused EUSDR.
