As part of the Croatian Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), the Croatian Parliament hosted the 7th Danube Parliamentary Conference dedicated to “Smart Solutions for Sustainable Development” on 28th October 2020. This event also marked the end of the Croatian Presidency of the Strategy, which was taken on by Slovakia as per 1st November 2020. As part of the Danube Parliamentary Conference, the “steering wheel of the Presidency” was handed over by the Croatian Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds Ms Nataša Tramišak to the Slovak Ambassador to Croatia H.E. Peter Susko in the Croatian Parliament. Slovakia will now hold the EUSDR Presidency until the end of October 2021.
Croatia took over the EUSDR Presidency from Romania on 1st November 2019 under the motto “EUSDR – 10 Years Later”.
