The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. The EU Regions week takes place from 12th to 15th October 2020 and it will be followed by the Interreg Annual Event (15th to 16th October).
The EU REGIONS applications are open until 27th of March! The results of the selection procedure will be announced by early May 2020.
This year, the main topics of the European Week of Regions and Cities are related to a greener Europe, cooperation & cohesion and empowering citizens. Should your project fit one of the three topics, do not hesitate to apply!
Celebrating 30 years of Interreg, relevant programmes and projects are encouraged to apply and share best practices in cross-border cooperation after such a long period of implementation!
