EUSDR Joint Meeting of National Coordinators and Priority Area Coordinators, 10 -11 September 2025, Sarajevo

As part of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), a two-day joint meeting of EUSDR National Coordinators (NCs) and EUSDR Priority Area Coordinators (PACs) was held in Sarajevo on 10–11 September 2025.

Over the course of two days, participants discussed current issues related to the implementation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EUSDR Presidency programme – including preparations for the 14th EUSDR Annual Forum, scheduled for 4–6 November 2025. Updates from the European Commission and the Danube Regional Programme were presented, while a dedicated discussion addressed opportunities for improving the EUSDR governance structure and activities recommended in the recently completed evaluation process.

Special focus was laid on youth participation and the implementation of flagship projects. The event also served as an opportunity to exchange experiences and enhance cooperation among Danube Region countries.

During its Presidency of the EUSDR, Bosnia and Herzegovina has the opportunity to actively contribute to regional cooperation and the implementation of European strategic goals. Hosting this meeting in Sarajevo represents another step towards strengthening international cooperation and further integrating the country into European processes.
