On 11 September in Budapest the DANUBEPARKS STEP 2.0 Project held its final conference. On this occasion another important event for future cooperation took place: the first General Assembly of the recently founded DANUBEPARKS Association, including the election of the Management Board. DANUBEPARKS, the Danube River Network of Protected Areas, was founded in 2007 and is a flagship project of Priority Area 6 – Biodiversity.
