Dear DYC members currently in the first mandate year 2024-2025,

Dear Caroline, Anes, Vladimir, Sára, Sára, Veronika, Felix, Danijel, Danil, and Matej,

Your first DYC mandate year will end on 31 October 2025. The DYC concept foresees that DYC members can prolong their one-year mandate once to a second year. This is only possible if you still fulfil the general eligibility criteria (age between 18 and 29, residence in one of the Danube Region countries) throughout your second mandate year.

Some of you will turn 30 between 1 November 2025 and 31 October 2026. This unfortunately makes a prolongation to a second mandate year impossible. You will therefore become a DYC Alumnus this autumn. However, for tasks such as onboarding of new members, buddy system etc., we believe that it would be great if some Alumni could still be actively involved (on voluntary basis). Otherwise, it would be very challenging for the small number of members who remain in the DYC to properly onboard all the new ones.
