EUSBSR & EUSDR Coffee with the Presidency

The Lithuanian Presidency of the EUSBSR kindly invites you to the traditional Coffee with the Presidency meeting, this time organized together with the EUSDR.

Under the suggestion of the Lithuanian Presidency, the EUSDR supported the idea to use the Coffee with the Presidency platform to strengthen cross-MRS cooperation. Therefore, we are glad to organize this first exchange between PACs of two MRS together with the TRIO (Slovak and Slovenian on behalf of the Ukrainian) Presidency of the EUSDR and we suggest such exchanges to become a tradition.

The MRS are about networking, learning from each other and exchanging best practices. Taking into account the challenges all MRS/ PACs face, we find it important to bring together the implementers of different MRS.

The PACs of transport/ mobility have kindly agreed to participate in this pilot meeting and to present their activities/ plans for the upcoming year/ insights about the areas of cross-MRS cooperation.

The organizers expect that these exchanges will encourage PACs of other Policy Areas/ Priority Areas to reconsider, for example, their working methods and will inspire for implementation of new ideas.

For such cooperation formats as MRS, it is crucial to avoid working in a vacuum. Therefore, theCoffee with the Presidency provides an opportunity to bring together the implementers of the MRS, to get a broader picture about the Strategies and to engage more actively in the achievement of common goals. We invite all EUSBSR and EUSDR PACs to participate in the 1st
joint Coffee with the Presidency meeting in order to get better understanding of the format and to consider possibilities of presenting your activities during other Coffee with the
Presidency meetings, to learn from each other and to strengthen cross-MRS cooperation with the counterparts of other MRS.
