Mid-Term Conference of the project “European Energy Award (eea) along the Danube”
The aim of the project “eea along the Danube” is to make the European Energy Award (eea) better known in the Danube Region and thus to promote its dissemination and application in the area.
The European Energy Award (eea) supports local governments in establishing interdisciplinary planning approaches and implementing effective energy and climate policy measures through the rational use of energy and increased use of renewable energies.
There are nearly 1.900 local authorities with a population of 77 million participating today.
The mid-term conference will provide an overview of the current status of the project.
There will be contributions from the three pilot regions in Croatia, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina and an input on the implementation of the eea in Austria.
In addition, there will be a focus on networking at the municipal level in the countries of the Danube region and opportunities for future cooperation, possibly within the framework of an EU-funded follow-up project, will be discussed.
Please register your participation here. The Zoom link will be provided to all registered participants in due time.
